Privacy Policy
RATH Infotech's privacy policy at www.rath.ae covers what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can access or delete it. We only gather what you give us directly through our forms and email, along with the standard technical and analytics data outlined below.
RATH Infotech runs the website www.rath.ae and handles the personal data that flows through it. We work with clients across Dubai and the wider UAE, and forms plus email are the only ways you'll ever send us information. This policy was last updated on 13 September 2026, and it covers everyone who uses the site.
What personal data we collect
We collect two kinds of information: what you actively submit, and standard technical data your browser sends when you visit. When you complete our audit form, project quote form, Google Workspace quote-comparison form or industrial assessment request, you give us your name, email address, company name and whatever details you type into your message. On the Workspace form you can also upload a competitor's quote file. Any email you send us gets stored as part of that correspondence. Our servers and analytics separately record standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you view.
| Data category | Examples of fields | Where collected | Purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| Form data | Name, email address, company, message, uploaded quote file | Audit, quote, Workspace and assessment forms | Respond to your enquiry or request |
| Email correspondence | Email address, message content, attachments | sales@rath.ae | Reply to and manage your enquiry |
| Technical / log data | IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, timestamps | Automatically, every page | Security, troubleshooting, site performance |
| Cookie / analytics data | Anonymous usage and referral data | Cookies and analytics scripts | Understand and improve how the site is used |
Why we collect it: purposes and lawful basis
We use your data for a handful of specific purposes: responding to enquiries and preparing quotes, delivering the audits or assessments you ask for, staying in touch about work you've engaged us for, and keeping the site secure while improving it. When you submit a form or opt in to marketing, we rely on your consent as our lawful basis. Server logs and analytics are different: we keep those to run and secure the site, and our basis there is legitimate interest in operating a safe, functional website. Every category is handled in line with UAE and EU concepts of consent and legitimate interest.
Cookies and analytics
The site uses cookies and analytics scripts to run properly and to help us understand how visitors use it. Essential cookies keep the site secure and let forms work. Analytics cookies from Google Analytics 4 record anonymous usage data so we can see which pages people find useful. If you arrive through one of our advertising campaigns, Google or Meta may set advertising cookies to measure that campaign's performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can opt out of each provider through the routes listed in the table below.
| Cookie / script | Provider | Purpose | Duration | How to opt out |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Essential / security cookies | Site host | Keep the site secure and forms working | Session to 12 months | Cannot be disabled without breaking the site |
| Analytics (GA4) | Anonymous usage and traffic measurement | Up to 14 months | Browser settings or Google's opt-out add-on | |
| Advertising cookies | Google, Meta | Measure campaign performance | Up to 13 months | Google Ads Settings; Meta ad preferences |
Who we share data with
We don't sell personal data, ever. We only share it with the service providers we need to run the site and respond to you, plus authorities where the law requires it. Our hosting and content-delivery provider processes form submissions and serves the site; Google handles anonymous analytics data. Both act on our instructions, and only for those purposes. We never rent, trade or sell your details to anyone.
| Provider | Role | Data handled | Location |
|---|---|---|---|
| Hosting / CDN provider | Website hosting, content delivery, form delivery | Form data, technical / log data | Global edge network |
| Analytics (GA4) | Anonymous usage data | Global |
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only for as long as we actually need it. Enquiry and quote data stays on file for the length of our correspondence, plus up to 24 months after your last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Email correspondence tied to active or completed work forms part of our business records, so we hold onto that too. Analytics data lasts up to 14 months. Once a retention period ends, or once you ask, we delete the data.
International transfers
Your data may end up processed outside the UAE. Our hosting, content-delivery and analytics providers run global networks, so some data, technical logs and anonymous analytics, for instance, may get handled in other countries. When data does leave the UAE, we work only with providers that apply recognised safeguards and contractual protections, in line with the transfer provisions of the UAE Personal Data Protection Law. We never transfer your data for any purpose beyond those set out in this policy.
How we secure it
The site's fully HTTPS, so anything you submit gets encrypted on its way to us. Only RATH Infotech team members who actually need enquiry data to respond to you can access it, and we use reputable providers for hosting and email. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Still, we take reasonable, proportionate steps to protect what you share with us.
Your rights and how to exercise them
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you. You can also have it corrected, have it deleted, object to certain processing, or opt out of marketing at any time. To exercise any of these rights, email sales@rath.ae from the address you used with us, or reach us through our contact page. We'll confirm your request, verify your identity, act on it, and reply within 30 days. A standard request costs nothing, and you can withdraw consent for marketing communications simply by replying to any message.
Legal frameworks
We handle personal data under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021). For visitors in the European Economic Area, we also apply the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These two frameworks shape the rights, purposes and safeguards set out in this policy. We mention them only to explain how we operate; we make no claim of certification or registration under either law.
Contact and changes to this policy
For any question about your data or this policy, email sales@rath.ae, the only channel for privacy requests. We may update this policy as our practices or the law change, and the "last updated" date at the top always shows the current version. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Privacy FAQs
What personal data does RATH Infotech collect?
Only what you give us, plus standard technical data. Our audit, quote, Workspace and assessment forms collect your name, email, company and message, along with any file you upload, such as a competitor's Workspace quote. Our servers log technical data too, things like IP address and browser type, and analytics cookies track anonymous usage.
Does rath.ae use cookies?
Yes. We use essential cookies to keep the site secure and forms working, Google Analytics 4 cookies for anonymous usage measurement, and, if you arrive via an advertising campaign, advertising cookies from Google or Meta. The cookies table above lists each cookie's provider, purpose, duration and opt-out route. You can also block cookies in your browser.
Does RATH Infotech sell my data?
No. We never sell or rent personal data to anyone. We share it only with the service providers we need to run this site and answer your enquiry, namely our hosting provider and Google Analytics, and with authorities where the law demands it. Those providers act only on our instructions, and only for the purposes set out in this policy.
Who is my data shared with?
Only the providers named in our sub-processor table have access: our hosting and content-delivery provider, which runs the site and delivers form submissions, and Google, which handles anonymous analytics data. We don't share your data with anyone beyond that unless the law forces our hand. Each provider works strictly on our instructions, for the purposes stated and nothing more.
How long do you keep my enquiry data?
Enquiry and quote data stays on file for as long as we're corresponding, and for up to 24 months after your last contact, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Email connected to active or completed work is kept as a business record. Analytics data, on the other hand, is deleted after 14 months at most.
Is my data stored outside the UAE?
Possibly. Our hosting, content-delivery and analytics providers run global networks, so technical logs and anonymous analytics might get processed outside the UAE. When data does leave the country, we work only with providers who apply recognised safeguards and contractual protections, matching what the transfer provisions of the UAE Personal Data Protection Law require.
How do I access or delete my data?
Email sales@rath.ae from the address you used with us, or head over to our contact page. Let us know whether you'd like to access, correct or delete your data. We'll confirm the request, then verify your identity to keep your information safe. After that we'll act on it and get back to you within 30 days. A standard request costs nothing.
Which data protection laws apply?
We regulate data handling under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), and for visitors in the European Economic Area, the EU GDPR applies too. These two frameworks give shape to the rights and safeguards laid out in this policy. We mention them simply to explain how we operate, not to claim any certification or registration under either law.
